Every year, the Department of Health, Culture and Sports provides food scholarships to students who study at our university and are in need.
Part-Time Working Opportunities
In accordance with Article 46 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, the Part-time Student Employment Programme allows students studying at our University to work in a job that suits their interests and abilities.
In order to improve their skills and contribute to their development as productive individuals who have acquired work discipline, we provide our students with the opportunity to work in order to evaluate their free time during their school periods according to the subject of their associate, undergraduate and postgraduate education or their personal interests.
In this context, our students who wish to work part-time are required to apply online through the official website of our University, following the job advertisements for part-time students to be employed in the academic and administrative units of our University after the beginning of the relevant academic year. Only online applications will be accepted.
Part-time students are employed for a maximum of 15 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per month.
Requirements for students to be employed part-time:
– To be a registered student of the higher education institution where they will be employed, except for non-thesis master’s degree students and special students,
– Not have received a disciplinary penalty,
– Not having an income at the minimum wage level, except for orphan’s pension and alimony,
– The contract between the part-time student and the higher education institution has not been terminated due to violation of the contract made between the student and the higher education institution,
– To have sufficient knowledge, skills and abilities for the work to be carried out,
– Not to be a freezing student and foreign student,
– To be studying within the normal education period,
– The above conditions are not required from students who document that they have been damaged by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, that they are the children of martyrs and veterans, and from disabled students, except for being studying within the normal education period, not being a foreign student and not being disciplined.
