Tınaztepe Polyclinic – Medical Social Services
Tınaztepe Polyclinic, which is affiliated to Dokuz Eylül University Hospital, provides health care services. A team of specialists and general practitioners, nurses, environmental health technicians, dieticians, psychologists, biologists, health and X-ray technicians work in this unit. One of our basic principles is to provide a qualified service that respects the rights of patients. The environment is friendly, warm, safe, respectful of confidentiality, technically equipped and clean.

Polyclinics are open between 08:30-17:30 on weekdays, but polyclinic services are available between 09:00-16:00. Blood collection process ends at 11:00 a.m. Polyclinics operate on an appointment system; appointments can be made online at www.hastane.deu.edu.tr.
Psychological Counselling and Guidance Service
It provides psychological counselling and guidance services to students, academic and administrative staff of our University.
Individual Psychological Counselling: In an unprejudiced and reliable environment, the necessary supportive and educational assistance is provided in the field that the person needs.
Laboratory (Blood Collection) Services
Serological, haematological and biochemical tests are carried out in our laboratory.
Medical Imaging Services
Direct radiography service is provided in our outpatient clinic.
Diet and nutrition services
A specialist dietician is available one day a week in our outpatient clinic. As a result of the polyclinic examination, services are provided to patients in need.
Check-up polyclinic

Dokuz Eylül University Research and Application Hospital
Today, the Application and Research Center, which has a total registered bed capacity of 1131 and is a tertiary health institution, provides outpatient health services to an average of 1.5 million people annually in 42 outpatient clinics affiliated to various departments.
The center’s laboratories are the first public hospital laboratories in Türkiye to be awarded the ISO 15189 accreditation certificate.
Within the hospital, there are units providing services in specific areas of health services such as in vitro fertilisation, organ transplantation, medical aesthetics and cosmetology, traditional and complementary medicine (GETAT), occupational diseases units, cardiology arrhythmia center, sleep disorders and epilepsy center, and radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology, which provide services with advanced technology.
DEU Application and Research Centre Cardiology Arrhythmia Centre was established with the aim of developing diagnostic treatment and training models that will enable rhythm disorder patients to access quality treatment all over the world. Our center was accredited by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) in 2022 and became one of the few training centers in Europe.
The fact that the hospital’s Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic offers treatments including thermal therapy makes a difference when compared to similar hospitals and units.
DEU Application and Research Centre has been recognised as a baby-friendly hospital since 1999. Our Health Tourism Unit at the DEU Application and Research Centre provides high quality health tourism services to our patients coming from abroad in accordance with international quality standards.
