The 5 kitchens of the Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University prepare hygienic and high quality food in accordance with food safety regulations in 21 canteens, serving lunch and dinner to an average of 13,000 people per day. Dinner is provided for our students staying in Buca Girls‘ Dormitory and Boys’ Dormitory. One of our production kitchens has been specially designed to produce gluten-free food, which can be used by students and staff who have been diagnosed with celiac disease. Catering services are provided at our Faculties, Schools and Vocational Schools in the Torbalı, Selçuk, Urla, Kiraz, Seferihisar and Bergama districts of our university. Tınaztepe Central Kitchen at Tınaztepe Campus has met the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System standards and is certified.

Our daily menus are prepared by our experienced chefs under the supervision of our food engineers and dieticians, taking into account the calorie needs of our students. Our kitchens offer a 4-course menu, as well as gluten-free and vegan options. Our students can benefit from the University’s cafeterias between 11:00-13:30 using the virtual money loaded on their Corporate Identity Cards with weekly identification, optional identification or daily pass options.
