The Erasmus+ Exchange Program is a program of the European Union that aims to promote the exchange of students, academics and staff in the field of higher education, to improve the quality of education, and to encourage and disseminate the construction of projects in this direction. Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program; associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students can benefit from study and internship mobility; faculty members can benefit from teaching mobility; administrative staff can benefit from training mobility.
* As of 2024, Dokuz Eylül University has 388 inter-institutional agreements with 27 different countries.
* Since the 2003-2004 academic year, a total of 3,716 students have gone to study abroad and 1,362 students have come to our university from abroad to receive education.
Conditions for Students to Benefit from Erasmus+ Mobility
- To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey and/or a citizen of other countries but a full-time student enrolled at our university.
- Students can study abroad for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months under this program. A student can benefit from study and internship mobility with or without grant for up to 12 months in each of associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs throughout his/her entire education life. Students who are in their 4th year of undergraduate studies, if they are eligible to benefit from Erasmus+ internship mobility, can use this right within one year following their graduation period.
- The student must be enrolled in one of the university’s associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs that provide formal education during the period of participation in the program.
- 1st year associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students can apply to the Erasmus+ program with the grade point average on the fall semester transcript.
- The GPA of associate degree and undergraduate students who will apply to the program must be at least 2.20 in the 4 point system; for master’s and doctoral program students, it must be at least 2.50. In units using the 100-grade system, whether the minimum GPA requirement is met is determined by using the equivalents specified in the grade conversion chart prepared by the Council of Higher Education.
- The student applies in accordance with the criteria determined by the National Agency and the university and in accordance with the instructions in the announcements shared on the website of the External Relations Coordination Office (international.deu.edu.tr) between the announced dates (disciplinary penalties or having lower courses does not prevent the student from applying).
- The student chooses among the universities where he / she can go within the scope of bilateral agreements of the department he / she is enrolled in.
- All students applying for Erasmus+ study and internship mobility are required to take the foreign language exam organized by Dokuz Eylül University School of Foreign Languages for the relevant Erasmus+ application period. The documents that students will bring from foreign languages for which no exam is organized are evaluated separately.
Mevlana Değişim Programı, yurtiçinde eğitim veren yükseköğretim kurumları ile yurtdışında eğitim veren anlaşmalı yükseköğretim kurumları arasında öğrenci ve öğretim elemanı değişimini mümkün kılan ve YÖK tarafından yürütülen bir programdır.
Değişim programına katılmak isteyen öğrenciler en az 1, en fazla 2 yarıyıl öğrenim görmek üzere; YÖK tarafından belirlenmiş ülke ve öğrenim alanı kriterlerine uygun olarak, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi ile anlaşması bulunan yükseköğretim kurumlarına giderek programdan faydalanabilirler. Benzer şekilde, söz konusu yurtdışı kurumların öğrencileri de Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nde değişim öğrencisi olarak öğrenim görebilirler.
Mevlana Değişim Programı İçin Başvuru Koşulları
- Öğrencinin, örgün eğitim verilen yükseköğretim programlarında kayıtlı ön lisans, lisans, yüksek lisans veya doktora öğrencisi olması,
- Ön lisans ve lisans öğrencilerinin genel akademik not ortalamasının 4.00 üzerinden en az 2,50 olması,
- Yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencilerinin genel akademik not ortalamasının 4.00 üzerinden en az 3.00 olması. Ön lisans ve lisans programlarının hazırlık ve birinci sınıfında okuyan öğrenciler ile hazırlık ve bilimsel hazırlık dönemlerinde bulunan yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencileri, esas eğitime başladıkları ilk yarıyıl için bu programdan faydalanamazlar.
Üniversitemizde Mevlana Değişim Programı, ilk olarak 2014 – 2015 akademik yılında gerçekleştirilen hareketlilikle hayata geçmiştir. Geçen süre içinde, farklı ülkelerden üniversiteler ile anlaşmalar imzalanmış olup, sürmekte olan yeni anlaşma imzalama çalışmaları da bulunmaktadır. YÖK tarafından küresel covid-19 pandemisi nedeniyle alınan karar doğrultusunda Mevlana Değişim Programı askıya alınmıştır.
Farabi Yükseköğretim Kurumları Arasında Öğrenci ve Öğretim Üyesi Değişim Programı, üniversite ve yüksek teknoloji enstitüleri bünyesinde ön lisans ve lisans düzeyinde eğitim – öğretim yapan yükseköğretim kurumları arasında öğrenci değişimini kapsamaktadır. Farabi’nin eğitim ve öğretim sürecini farklı merkezlerdeki bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlikleri arttırmayı hedeflemektedir”.
Farabi Değişim Programı, öğrencilerin 1 veya 2 yarıyıl süresince farklı bir üniversite ve şehirde eğitimlerini sürdürmelerini sağlamaktadır. Bu programdan yararlanan öğrenciler, güz yarıyılı için dört ay karşılıksız burs almaktadırlar.
Farabi Değişim Programı öğrencisi olabilmek için başvuran öğrencilerde aranacak asgari şartlar şunlardır:
- Öğrencinin, örgün eğitim verilen yükseköğretim programlarında kayıtlı lisans öğrencisi olması,
- Lisans öğrencilerinin genel akademik not ortalamasının en az 2.00/4.00 olması. (100’lük sistemdeki notların 4’lük sistemdeki karşılıklarında, bu konuya ilişkin YÖK kararları esas alınır.)
Farabi Değişim Programı kapsamında 86 üniversite ile tüm bölümleri kapsayan değişim protokolleri imzalanmıştır. YÖK tarafından küresel covid-19 pandemisi nedeniyle alınan karar doğrultusunda Farabi Değişim Programı askıya alınmıştır.
